Bai Chay Bridge is located on Highway 18, connecting two parts of Ha Long city, Hon Gai and Bai Chay, through the mouth of Cua Luc river where it empties into Ha Long Bay. This is a single-plane reinforced concrete prestressed cable-stayed bridge with the world's longest span with a main span of up to 435 m. Bai Chay Bridge was inaugurated in December 2006.
